রথযাত্রা ২০২৬ হিন্দু ধর্মের অন্যতম শ্রেষ্ঠ, প্রাচীন এবং সর্বাধিক জনপ্রিয় উৎসব। এই দিনে ভগবান জগন্নাথ, তাঁর জ্যেষ্ঠ ভ্রাতা বলভদ্র এবং ভগিনী সুভদ্রাকে সুসজ্জিত বিশাল রথে বসিয়ে শোভাযাত্রা বের করা হয়। ভারতের ওড়িশা রাজ্যের পুরী শহরে অনুষ্ঠিত রথযাত্রা বিশ্বের অন্যতম বৃহৎ ধর্মীয় উৎসব হিসেবে পরিচিত।

প্রতি বছর লক্ষ লক্ষ ভক্ত এই উৎসবে অংশগ্রহণ করেন। তাঁদের বিশ্বাস, ভগবানের রথ টানার সৌভাগ্য অর্জন করলে জীবনে সুখ, শান্তি ও কল্যাণ লাভ হয়।

পৌরাণিক কাহিনী অনুসারে, ভগবান জগন্নাথ প্রতি বছর তাঁর জ্যেষ্ঠ ভ্রাতা বলভদ্র এবং ভগিনী সুভদ্রাকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে শ্রীজগন্নাথ মন্দির থেকে গুণ্ডিচা মন্দিরে রথে চড়ে যাত্রা করেন। এই গুণ্ডিচা মন্দিরকে ভগবানের মাসির বাড়ি বলেও মনে করা হয়।

रथ यात्रा 2026 भारत के सबसे पवित्र, प्राचीन और भव्य हिंदू त्योहारों में से एक है। यह पर्व भगवान जगन्नाथ, उनके बड़े भाई बलभद्र और बहन सुभद्रा को विशाल एवं आकर्षक रथों पर विराजमान कर नगर भ्रमण कराने के रूप में मनाया जाता है। यह उत्सव केवल धार्मिक आस्था का प्रतीक नहीं, बल्कि प्रेम, समानता, भाईचारे और सामाजिक एकता का संदेश भी देता है।

हर वर्ष ओडिशा के पुरी में आयोजित होने वाली जगन्नाथ रथ यात्रा देखने के लिए भारत ही नहीं बल्कि दुनिया भर से लाखों श्रद्धालु पहुंचते हैं। श्रद्धालु भगवान के रथ को खींचने को अपने जीवन का सौभाग्य मानते हैं।

रथ यात्रा का इतिहास हजारों वर्ष पुराना माना जाता है। इसका उल्लेख स्कंद पुराण, ब्रह्म पुराण, पद्म पुराण तथा अन्य वैष्णव ग्रंथों में मिलता है।

धार्मिक मान्यता के अनुसार भगवान जगन्नाथ वर्ष में एक बार अपने बड़े भाई बलभद्र और बहन सुभद्रा के साथ श्री जगन्नाथ मंदिर से लगभग तीन किलोमीटर दूर स्थित गुंडिचा मंदिर की यात्रा करते हैं। इस यात्रा को भगवान की मौसी के घर जाने का प्रतीक भी माना जाता है।

ऐसा कहा जाता है कि इस यात्रा के दौरान भगवान स्वयं अपने भक्तों के बीच आते हैं। जो भक्त मंदिर के गर्भगृह तक नहीं पहुंच पाते, उन्हें भी भगवान के दर्शन का अवसर मिलता है। यही कारण है कि रथ यात्रा को “जन-जन तक भगवान के पहुंचने का उत्सव” भी कहा जाता है। रथ यात्रा 2026

भगवान जगन्नाथ कौन हैं?

“जगन्नाथ” शब्द संस्कृत के दो शब्दों “जगत” और “नाथ” से मिलकर बना है, जिसका अर्थ है “संपूर्ण विश्व के स्वामी”।

वैष्णव परंपरा के अनुसार भगवान जगन्नाथ, भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का दिव्य स्वरूप हैं। उनके साथ उनके बड़े भाई बलभद्र और बहन सुभद्रा की पूजा की जाती है।

A Visit to a Place of Historical Interest Essay for Class 10 – Sivasagar, a historic town in Assam, was once the capital of the Ahom dynasty, which ruled the region for over 600 years. The town is known for its rich cultural heritage and ancient monuments. Recently, I visited Sivasagar with my family, and it was a memorable experience.

Our first stop was the ‘Rang Ghar’, one of Asia’s oldest surviving amphitheaters. Built by Ahom king Swargadeo Pramatta Singha in the 18th century, it is a two-storied structure made of bricks and a unique indigenous paste. It was used by the royal family to watch traditional games like buffalo fights. The building’s boat-shaped roof and grand design reflect the advanced architecture of the Ahom period.

Next, we visited the ‘Talatal Ghar’ and ‘Kareng Ghar’, which served as royal residences and military bases. Talatal Ghar is especially famous for its hidden tunnels and secret chambers, which were once used for escaping enemies. Though parts of it are now closed, it still gives a glimpse into the intelligence of Ahom engineers.

We then went to the ‘Sivasagar Tank‘, a large artificial lake built by Queen Ambika. Beside it stands the ‘Sivadol’ temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is one of the tallest Shiva temples in India.
The visit to Sivasagar was both educational and inspiring.
