A Visit to a Place of Historical Interest Essay for Class 10 – Sivasagar, a historic town in Assam, was once the capital of the Ahom dynasty, which ruled the region for over 600 years. The town is known for its rich cultural heritage and ancient monuments. Recently, I visited Sivasagar with my family, and it was a memorable experience.

Our first stop was the ‘Rang Ghar’, one of Asia’s oldest surviving amphitheaters. Built by Ahom king Swargadeo Pramatta Singha in the 18th century, it is a two-storied structure made of bricks and a unique indigenous paste. It was used by the royal family to watch traditional games like buffalo fights. The building’s boat-shaped roof and grand design reflect the advanced architecture of the Ahom period.

Next, we visited the ‘Talatal Ghar’ and ‘Kareng Ghar’, which served as royal residences and military bases. Talatal Ghar is especially famous for its hidden tunnels and secret chambers, which were once used for escaping enemies. Though parts of it are now closed, it still gives a glimpse into the intelligence of Ahom engineers.

We then went to the ‘Sivasagar Tank‘, a large artificial lake built by Queen Ambika. Beside it stands the ‘Sivadol’ temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is one of the tallest Shiva temples in India.
The visit to Sivasagar was both educational and inspiring.

It helped me understand the greatness of Assam’s history and the legacy of the Ahom kings. These monuments are not just tourist attractions but important symbols of our past.
In conclusion, visiting Sivasagar was like sleeping into a history book I feel proud to belong to a land with such a rich and glorious heritage.

My visit to Sivasagar was both educational and memorable.

The first monument we visited was Rang Ghar, one of the oldest surviving amphitheaters in Asia. Minimum Service Requirement of DSE Assam B.Ed

ন্যূনতম চাকৰিৰ অভিজ্ঞতা

Teachers must fulfill the following conditions:

Minimum 5 years continuous regular service required.
Must have at least 5 years residual service remaining.
Newly provincialised tutors must have minimum 3 years remaining service.

কমেও ৫ বছৰ নিয়মীয়া চাকৰিৰ অভিজ্ঞতা থাকিব লাগিব।
অৱশিষ্ট চাকৰিৰ সময় কমেও ৫ বছৰ থাকিব লাগিব।

Important Rules for Selection for DSE Assam B.Ed 2026–2028

1. Preference to Senior Teachers

Senior teachers will get priority during selection.

নির্বাচনৰ সময় জ্যেষ্ঠ শিক্ষকক অগ্ৰাধিকাৰ দিয়া হ’ব।

If any junior teacher applies, then:

NOC from senior teacher is mandatory.
HOI recommendation required.

2. Only Limited Teachers from One School

From one school:

Only 1 Post Graduate Teacher
And 1 Graduate Teacher

can be recommended during one session.

3. Teachers Already Deputed Earlier

Schools from where teachers were already deputed during 2025–27 session cannot recommend teachers again for 2026–28.

যি বিদ্যালয়ৰ শিক্ষক ২০২৫–২৭ session ত deputation পাইছে, সেই বিদ্যালয়ৰ পৰা পুনৰ ২০২৬–২৮ session ৰ বাবে শিক্ষক পঠাব নোৱাৰিব।

4. Staff Availability is Important

Deputation will be allowed only if enough teaching staff remains available in the school.

ODL Mode B.Ed Information

ODL Mode B.Ed সম্পর্কীয় তথ্য

Teachers willing to pursue B.Ed through ODL mode may take admission in NCTE-recognized institutions.

ODL mode ৰ মাধ্যমে B.Ed কৰিব বিচৰা শিক্ষকসকলে NCTE অনুমোদিত প্রতিষ্ঠানত ভর্তি হ’ব পাৰিব।

Seniority List Mandatory

Applicants must submit:

Seniority List signed by HOI
Countersigned by Inspector of Schools

Important Condition About B.Ed Deputation

B.Ed deputation is allowed only once in a teacher’s career.

If a teacher fails B.Ed examination during deputation period, he/she will not get another deputation chance.

এজন শিক্ষক জীৱনত মাত্ৰ এবাৰ B.Ed deputation লাভ কৰিব পাৰিব।
যদি deputation চলাকালীন B.Ed পৰীক্ষাত অকৃতকাৰ্য হয়, পুনৰ সুযোগ নাপাব।

The final selection and placement will be done by:

Selection depends on:

No teacher can claim admission in a particular college as a right.
