Importance of religion is too great to be measured. It strengthens our belief in the Almighty, to which most of us call God. Ihat hidden power is present everywhere. It is our strong belief in God which has helped us throughout the times immemorial.

People have lived and died for their religion. This shows their deep love and regard for their
respective religions. India iS a religious country. Here, every object of nature is worshiped. The rivers, the trees and the stone-idols are worshiped. People visit temples, churches and mosques.
They offer their prayers to their respective deities. Their devotion is unquestionable. Our life is very much influenced by our religion.

The parents teach their children the importance of the religion. The schools start with assembly
prayer to the Almighty. Moral science is a subject which is taught in many schools. It develops good values of life. We imbibe sympathy, kindness, compassion, love in the purest form and Droad-mindedness. The religions of the world teach us love and brotherhood.

we should not fight for the sake of religion. We know for certain that Rama and Rahim are the Same. The paths may be different but final goal is the same. All religions are great and worthy of Our devotion. All places of worship give us one message that – all of us are children of Almighty, let us live in peace. Let us live and let others live in love and harmony.

When is Eid ul-Adha?

Eid ul-Adha, meaning the Festival of Sacrifice’, takes place on the day after the Day of Arafah, which marks a final day of fasting before the festivities begin.

This year, the Day of Arafah falls on July 19 with Eid ul-Adha beginning on July 20 according to moon sightings in Saudi Arabia.

Eid ul-Adha will last for three days and is held on the third day of the Haj, the fifth pillar of Islam, which this year commences on July 18.

How is it different to Eid
ul-Fitr?

While the summer time Islamic celebration of Eid ul-Adha takes place every year as a Festival of Sacrifice, Eidul-Fitr takes place two months earlier as the celebration of the breaking of the fast’.It marks the three day celebration which comes at the end of the month-long fasting period of Ramadan, and in 2021 began on May 13 in the UK.

As per the shifting dates of the Islamic Lunar Calendar, the Eid ul-Fitr is heldon the first day of the tenth month,Shawwal, in the Muslim calendar.

The two Eid holidays are celebrated in similar ways, but Eid ul-Fitr is viewed in Islam as the lesser of the two Eids and is often referred to as ‘small Eid’ – with Eid ul-Adha being considered the holiest of the two.

In India, Sid will be celebrated tomorrow i.e. May 4 as the crescent moon was sighted at 6:53 pm in India marking the end of Ramzan. Therefore, id-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on May 14 of the courntry. … Eid marks the end of the month-long fasting period of Ramadan.

● The candidate must have passed B. Sc(Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing) with Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health in the academic year 2019-20 are only eligible to apply for the post.

● B.Sc(Nursing)/ Post Basic B. Sc Nursing passed from a Nursing institution/University recognized by Indian Nursing Council/ and Assam Nurses Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council.

● Candidates must be Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) from Assam Nurses Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ council.

● Other Criteria: Candidates should have proficiency in regional/ local language and dialect.

● Salary: Community Health Officer on contractual basis shall be paid remuneration of Rs 25,000 per month and monthly performance-based incentive Up to Rs 15,000 per month.

Selection Process of SSA Karbi Anglong Block Resource Person (BRP):

Date Of verification, / interview will be notified at the Notice Board Of District Mission Office, SSA,Karbi Anglong, KAAC, Diphu and also at the Notice Board of Block Mission Office, SSA in all Educational Blocks.

No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the verification, / Interview as and when called for.At the time of interview/ Verification of documents, intending teacher will have to produce special working certificate (Sample copy of specified working certificate is uploaded at the Official website: (www.ssa.assam.gov.in) to be taken from the Head of the institution of his/her working school and duely authenticated and countersigned by concern District Authority viz.DPEO/ DMD/DI/ IS along with relevant documents in original.

How to Apply for SSA Karbi Anglong BRP Vacancy 2021:

The Candidates will have to apply offline along with photocopy of all relevant documents to the District Mission Office, SSA, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Diphu.

Last Date of submission of application: The Application should reached the Office of the District Mission Coordinator, SSA, KAAC, Diphu within 24th July 2021 during the office hours.Candidates will have to give option of only one Educational Block in the application. चिपको आंदोलन || Chipko Andolan

चिपको शब्द का अर्थ है, ‘चिपकना’ या ‘गले लगाना’। चिपको आंदोलन तेजी से वनों की कटाई के खिलाफ एक अहिंसक विरोध था। यह घटना २६ मार्च १९७३ को हुई थी। उत्तराखंड के क्षेत्रों में बड़े पैमाने पर वनों की कटाई शुरू हो गई थी, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप इस तरह का एक असामान्य विरोध हुआ। पहले इस तरह का विरोध १७३० ईस्वी में देखा गया था जहाँ खेजड़ी के पेड़ों को बचाते हुए ३६३ राजस्थानी ग्रामीणों की मृत्यु हो गई थी। यह प्रेरणा हो सकती है
1973 का चिपको आंदोलन।

महिलाओं के अलावा, सामूहिक विरोध था
सुंदरलाल बहुगुणा और चंडी प्रसाद के नेतृत्व में
भट्ट।
चंडी प्रसाद भट्ट ने 1982 में रेमन मैग्सेसे पुरस्कार जीता और उसके बाद
सुंदरलाल बहुगुणा ने पद्म विभूषण पुरस्कार 2009 जीता।

History of Chipko Movement

History-Chipko Movement The word Chipko means, ‘to stick’ or ‘to hug’.The Chipko movement was a non-violent protest against the rapid deforestation. This event took place on 26th March 1973.Mass level of deforestation had started taking place in areas of Uttarakhand which resulted in such kind of an unusual protest.Earlier such kind of protest was witnessed in the 1730 A.D. where 363 Rajasthani villagers died while saving Khejri trees. Chipko Movement- Why it Started ?

Due to rapid urban development projects
like construction of dams & roads, a large
number of trees were being cut down in Uttarakhand.
The goal of this mass environmental
movement was to draw attention & prevent deforestation.
This movement followed Gandhian philosophy of peaceful resistance.It was an uprising against the people
destroying ecological balance.

Chipko Movement – Who Participated ?

The biggest participants in this movement were women.
Women are the backbone of the agrarian
community, hence it was necessary that
women stand up against the deforestation.
Apart from women, the mass protest was
lead by Sundarlal Bahuguna & Chandi Prasad
Bhatt.
Chandi Prasad Bhatt won the Ramon Magsaysay Award in 1982 followed by
Sundarlal Bahuguna won the Padma Vibhushan Awards 2009.

Chipko Movement – What are its
Achievements?

The Chipko Movement won the fight in 1980 when the government banned the feeling of
trees in the Himalayan forests for 15 years.
This ban was later extended to the Western Ghats & Vindhyas.
The Chipko Movement was of the first
environmental movement which drew people’s
attention to the ecological issues.
Similar movements started taking place in
various other areas, e.g. Appiko Movement in Karnataka State.
