Eligibility Criteria of IOCL Apprentice Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidate age must be minimum 18 years and maximum age shall be 24 years as on 31-10-2023 for General/EWS candidates.
Age Relaxation: The relaxation of upper age limit for reserved categories are as follows
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years
PwBD-OBC(NCL): 13 years
PwBD-SC/ST: 15 years
Educational Qualification IOCL Apprentice
# Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator: Candidates must have 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).
# Trade Apprentice (Fitter): Candidates must be Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade of minimum 2 years duration with Pass class.
# Trade Apprentice Boiler (Mechanical): Candidates must have 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).
# Technician Apprentice (Chemical): Candidates must have 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engg./Petrochemical Engg./Chemical Technology / Refinery and Petrochemical Engg.
# Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Candidates must have 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg.
# Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Candidates must have 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engg. / Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
# Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): Candidates must have 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engg/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engg, / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
# Trade Apprentice (Secretarial Assistant): Candidates must have 3 years B.A./B.Sc/B.Com.
# Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Candidates must have 3 years B.Com.
