MY FAVORITE HOBBY

 

Introduction – Hobby means a favourite pursuit. It is something different from a man’s daily routine-work. It is an occupation in one’s leisure-time.

             Almost every man has a hobby of his own. Some collect stamps, some old coins, while others have gardening as their hobby, As for myself, I also have my own hobby.

What it is my hobby – My hobby is gardening. It gives me pleasure. It enables me to make the best use of leisure. I have a garden of my own. I make the soil loose with the spade. I root out the grass and plant there different flower-plants. I water them in the afternoon. My heart dances in joy when flowers bloom in my garden; they are of various colours. Their sweet smell fills the air. Everyone praises me for my garden.

Why you choose it – I have chosen gardening as my hobby for more than one reason. It is a source of pleasure. It is also a good exercise. I breathe fresh air when I work in the garden. It increases my appetite. So, my hobby helps the growth of my body and mind. It makes me pure.
